Your best photo of game taken with trad gear
« on: September 22, 2010, 08:01:00 PM »
I thought it might be cool if folks posted photographs of themselves with game taken, or perhaps just the game alone and maybe your bow laying with it...whatever.. In an effort to do a better job myself of taking these photographs, I thought it might be cool to see the different angles and set ups that you've all done. Might be a great way to help us all become better at taking these shots. If you can remember any of the details, such as the size lens used, flash or no flash, etc..., please include that as well.
Thanks,
Chuck

Here's a buck I took in 2007.  He never knew what hit him...he didn't make it 40 yards and crashed!

Here ya go:

Life should NOT be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in a well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways-BOW in one hand-ARROWS in the other-Body thoroughly used up, totally worn out and screaming-WOO HOO! WHAT A RIDE!

Here are a few. Really like the pic Lone Wolf has of the spike propped up.

My favorite is a picture of my grandfather (his last year hunting), my father and myself with three bucks taken with rifles on the same day. That I cannot post. Here is a Blacktail I took this fall on a grueling AK hunt. Well worth it.
I built the bow myself.
