Case for camera
« on: October 25, 2010, 10:20:00 PM »
What have you found for a case?

I have a Panasonic DMC-ZS5  and would like a case to protect it.

I need something 4"L x 2.5"w x 1.5"t I think.

Looked at many and none touched my liking yet.

Help....

When hunting I drop my camera in a sock and put that in a zip lock bag. I carry it like that in my hunting back pack.

Not sure of which size you would need, but I would recommend one of the pelican cases. I run pelican cases for my DLSR's and they are bombproof.

Check out the Lowepro line.  They have a good assortment to choose from and some have built in Rain Hoods.  Most of the smaller ones you can just clip to your pack or even a belt making them handy when you need it, not having to rummage through a bag and then the moment is gone.
