Elksong's photo's
« on: January 10, 2011, 07:56:00 PM »
My beautiful wife gave me a camera for Christmas. I have been shootin' picture like a madman. I have a job that put's my in the woods a lot. I have always told everyone I see some amazing animals.........

What is man without the beasts? If all the beasts were gone, men would die from great loneliness of spirit, for whatever happens to the beasts also happens to man. All things are connected. Whatever befalls the earth befalls the children of the earth

Being that close to animals is something everyone should experience at least once in there life time.

It's hard to explain to people who don't have the opportunity/chance to see just what we see/witness.

Great photos and thanks for sharing.

Beautiful pics Elksong!!!  What's you're occupation if you don't mind me asking?  What kind of camera did you use?  I'm persuing a degree in Forestry right now so I can be out and about.
Chasing my kids and my degree for now but come next fall the critters better look out.  ;)

Thanks guy's. Kenneth, the camera is a Canon Powershot SX30 IS. The biggest feature that helps get pic's of wildlife is it has a 35x optical zoom. Easy to use anyway. Also, I work in the Natural Gas industry, Check wells and measurement stations.
