old bow made new
« on: January 05, 2008, 10:01:00 PM »
I have an old Ben Pearson Golden Sovreign the limbs are still straight and the bow still shoots good but the finish is beginning to peel and crack. I know there has to be someone here on this site who takes bows like this and refinishes them and makes them look new again. Help me out here and hook me up with someone as I think I am going to get this bow refinished instead of buying something new.

Killdeer
Long, long afterward, in an oak I found the arrow, still unbroke;
And the song, from beginning to end, I found again in the heart of a friend.

If you take a look here

bowdoc is kind enough to explain step by step how to do it yourself.
