My JD Berry Vixen aka the Dark Lord

I did a penetration test with my #86 Hill BIG FIVE and my #78 JD Berry Vixen (aka The Dark Lord). The draw weights are at my 28 1/2 draw. These two bows I am taking on my Cape Buffalo hunt this June. As we all know Cape Buff have some serious ribs for body armor. So here are a few pictures of my penetration test on a two inch phone book at ten yards. The same arrow was used to shot out of both bows weighing in at 967 grains hickory shaft with a 300 grain tuffhead feild point, 30 1/2 inches long. The arrow is breast tapered. The Hill is bamboo and the Berry is Black locust. I shot this arrow one time out of the Berry and two times out of the Hill to be fair to the Hill Bow.
