Yeah, you can keep the snake carcass just send me the skin!!  :bigsmyl:   We got 47"s of snow in Dec. and any snake that is longer than that is deep is too big to be livin' up here anyway! Shawn

Wow! A whole six-foot sub's worth!  :bigsmyl:

And the song, from beginning to end, I found again in the heart of a friend.

Biggie, aren't you 6'5" tall?  If so, that snake is over 7' long?  Holy smokes!

Hey Biggie,
I walked up on this one last Sunday morning, last weekend in December:

Never a dull moment in the deep south is it!

For some, hunting is a pleasant way to spend a fall afternoon, for others it is who they are.

Those things would keep things interesting for sure. Are they any good to eat? Also what kind of head do you use on them? We have a few around here but i have never seen one in all the years I have hunted, if I did I would shoot it.

Naw, really, this is as big a diamondback as I've ever seen. We'll skin him out and put him on a board in the Man Cave.
I'm 6'4" and 340# so you can see, even with the Chuck Adams pose, he's healthy.
With him gone, our deer heard should show an increase this spring :-)

I haven't run up on one this year in MS, but I do see more rattlers in Dec. and Jan. than anybody should.
