First trophy of 2008
« on: January 06, 2008, 06:00:00 PM »

We have had a heat wave and I had to go out and see what the critters were doing. This fat guy ran down a tree and stopped 15 yds from me. I drew back and centered him. To be honest I was a bit shocked that I got him, because I wasn't prepared. I used my 52# Griffin and a cedar arrow tipped with a big wingnut.
Just one more step please!

Nice shot. I just love that German camo, too.

:D  I paid $20 for the whole suit through Sportsmans Guide. It's my "walk through whatever and I don't care what happens to it" suit.  :biglaugh:

LOL! No, I wanted to get a pic of him out in the wild but I'm not allowed to take the digital camera out hunting after the last adventure. I filmed myself walking through the water to get my deer and our camera wouldn't work for a week. The wife took it and said I'll have to save for one to trash on.            :knothead:
