CX Heritage 90's

Anyone try these Heritage CX90's yet?
 A nice heavy arrow 9.4GR/in shaft  a light  540 spine should be popular..

For those that shoot around 40 pounds.

I was shooting CE Maxima 150's (.495 deflection) out of low-40's recurves and longbows with 200 gr. upfront at 29-30" length. The CE 90's will probably need to be cut a bit shorter and/or less weight upfront if for hunting bow usage. That should be OK anyways, since they are heavier than the Maximas and high FOC won't be required to get the weight up. But then of course, for longbows that are out from center quite a ways... they will probably be the ticket.

the 90s only come in 29" length ..they have a .530 spine and i do not believe they will accept the internal weights... I would contact John (srta) .... he sells them and knows his stuff!

I haven't had a chance to make mine up as yet.But like they said they are 29" and they will not take 50 or 100 inserts or add-on weights.I have tried them inserts will have to be modified to fit maybe by sanding them to fit.They are a slighly smaller diameter and they use different nocks also.They are the same diammeter as their Thunderstorm and Junior line,they are 9/32 not the standard 5/16.

imho...id go with the ce150...

if you can shoot a 29" arrow ..then look at the ce thunderstorm...great arrow at a very nice price..i think they are 8.5 grains per inch...so a tad lighter than the 90s.. they will not take the internal weights..so youd need to use a heavy head up front...they spine the same as the ce150 and goldtip 3555..the spine is   .499

I have them but have not seriously tuned with them yet. My initial basement bareshaft tests indicate that they will fly right from my 46@27 Bob Lee Long Bow with the 29" shaft and a 145gr head.

My 1916s are 28" so with the extra inch of shaft these should be just 7.4 grains lighter without adding any weight.

My intent is to be able to shoot them as is. We will see.

I think they will fill a need for lighter bow shooters.A CX 150 spines at .487 and the CX 90 I'm pretty sure it is at .531. Not a big difference but can make a difference when you are tuning for bows that are not cut to center.
