Maybe you are right Pete.
I am waiting on a Hawk.
Also due ..... way past due actually.

Yea, just kind of put it out of your mind, and from time to time .... near when it's due......... call.

David means well. I think he is just swamped.

A lot of us made the mistake of recommending him, and now we can't get in the door.

I would never, ever recommend my VW mechanic to a stranger. So impractical !

Anyway we are close .....

I have a buddy with one waaaay past due now.  Glad it isn't me.  :D  Not that I would not like to have one of David's bows.

Hill bug swamped David Miller with orders!  I guess you could call him one of the "doctor's" for the affliction.     :jumper:

I wonder if miller uses different finishes for different models.  His finish on my split bamboo he said was clear plastic bumper paint.  The finish on his old Tom looks entirely different.  He even told me to use carnuba car wax to keep it shining!  He said don't buff it off for a hunt if you don't like the shine.  I would guess he uses other finishes for his other bows.

Kept another archer in the "Hill" ranks. My daughter was ready for a new bow,so we started looking around at bows that were the next step up.Recurves,r/d longbows and Hill style longbows. Her old bow is a little 48" Hill style. She picked a 7 Lakes Hill style longbow. That's my girl!  :goldtooth:  54" "Nite Lite 3"

Mike's Hill style kid's bow is a home-run in my opinion. Looks like she thinks highly of it too  :)

Congrats Sir!

Were can I get a lam. longbow for a fourteen year old. My stepdaughter wants one, but haven't found one thats within my budget as yet.If see really had an ongoing interest then i wouldn't mind spending a couple hundred. Would like to find one for under a hundred bucks. I would really like to make her a self bow, but haven't found the time as of yet.Something around 25 at 24 would be about right.

I think Mike's bows at 7Lakes might fit the bill. Give him a shout and see what he has. He has one with an Osage riser on his website now.

Glad she's liking that 7Lakes, Nick.  Archery is a great sport for a young lady to get involved in.  And it's cool that you guys can hit the field together.  Teach her everything you know.  But don't get upset when she starts out shooting you    :jumper:

Thanks Mike. Looking good for us being able to go to the Whittingham shoot,so you'll be able to get a good look at her bow. I'll bring a couple more bows that I think you'll like to see as well.  ;)
