HH bug got me ... Part One!

I only shoot woodies out of my Hill style bows and I just got some beauties from David at Wilderness custom arrows.Man,he does great work!
Time to glue on some Snuffers and get back out after gobblers on Saturday morning.   :D

Well thanks to Shinken, I've got my 2nd Northern Mist.  Its a Shelton with Osage riser (its turned that rich honey color) and red elm limbs that are stained Black Walnut.
Now I thought I enjoyed shooting my NM Classic, but this Shelton has really gotten under my skin.  Really, really liking the string follow experience.

Thats good three under. Can you elaborate what you find so appealing about the Shelton Vs the Classic.  Myself personally I prefer the set back bows.  I liked my Classic more that the Shelton, and I prefer my Vixen over my Misty Dawn.  

I prefer the stiffness of draw that I get from the set-back as opposed to the softer feel on the string follow.  I also prefer the snappier feeling on release that I get from a set back vs the spongy type feeling I receive from the string follow.  For myself, Its all about the setback. Now DO NOT GET ME WRONG. both my Shelton and the Misty Dawn are great bows, and I shoot them as good as my setback, but it all boils down to the "feeling" for me and I just prefer the set backs. Much like I do not care for the feeling of a bow with bamboo cores and would much rather own a Red Elm or Maple cored bow.  

Congrats on the new bow.  Steve builds a great product.

Brown glass with myrtle riser with grey handle.  Gloss finish with no rest leather.  The handle is going to match "Pasada Mamma Lil Brat" only just a shy shallower.  I was wanting a very classic looking bow.

ChrisM I got a Tembo With string follow 45@26 and 66 length. I just love the string follow absolutely dead in my hand. Mine is Black Glass with caramelised boo and cocobolo. You will enjoy yours for sure!

Well, yesterday had a nice day a field with my sunset hill, missed a turkey not the bow's fault just shooter.  Hopefully will get one sunday or monday.

I was very torn about some white glass infact.  Just couldn't pull the trigger on it.  I kinda like my bows to have the same color front and back.

I hear ya, my Schulz is brown glass front and back with a deep, narrow myrtle riser - your Tembo will look sweet....

I figure this is the best place to ask.  Do any of you fellas use a four blade head like a zwickey with your back quiver?  I have only tried using two blades.  I don't see how the two bleeder blades would hang much if any just wondering if anyone had tried.

Sorry it's taken so long to respond to your question.
The experience shooting the two bows is definitely different.
The Shelton is more quiet and has less handshock.  I can tell no difference in cast between the two.
I believe a big part of my preference for the Shelton is coming from its lower brace height.  It is at 6.5" right now.  The Classic likes a little more and is at 7.25".  Not sure why I like a lower brace height, just seems a little more natural for me.
After shooting both of them for the past 4 hours or so, those are the main differences.

Just re-read your post and saw your comments on Bamboo vs. Red Elm.
The Shelton is Red Elm.  The Classic is Bamboo.
Could you elaborate on your preference for the RE?
That may be something I am seeing, but I just don't have enough experiences with these type bows to know what I'm missing or experiencing.
