I have been shooting my 70" Wesley braced at 6.25" but decided to drop it to 5.75" to do a little fine tuning with my broadheads..... DD (my bow's name) seemed to shoot better and brought my broadheads back to center.

Anybody else shoot their Hills braced that low?

I shoot my Sunset Hill at 5.75" too. Nate recommended a low BH.

Do you guys find more wrist slap with lower brace? And I have had the brace set so low I've actually hit my thumb where it joins the wrist.

Comments??

I haven't noticed any extra slap but I was really just wanting to weaken my shafts a little bit since they had been hitting left by a few inches. Then I noticed the bow felt more "calm" not that it wasn't before. More like better to best.

I'm running my Miller's and Schulz at 5.5 - works perfectly and gives a little extra power stroke to my stubby draw....

I shoot my bows with brace heights in the 5's also. 66" bows are between 5-1/2"-5-7/8"
I shoot my 64" bow at 5-3/8"
Arm guards aren't just for the "Hill" look.  ;)

A buddy wanted me to make his wife a bow.  Made a texas ebony and juniper Hill style with a stingray wrap.  It is 62" and 24@25.

Agreed, 6 1/4" to 6 1/2"  for me.  Lower gives me bad arrow flight and I've monkeyed with it a lot.

Me too I guess, I shoot a 68" and 6 3/8" is where I stay.
