Yep, the December season interests me. I love hunting turks with a bow. So if i can find an extra season to hunt them I'm loving it. We can talk more on sat.

Thanks Bryan

I'm more intrested in hunting those big bucks ya got over there that time of yr.   :scared:   .Tough to see the bullet holes,(the white slash[in the dark branch] just above the arrows is where the bullet grazed my other leg, exit hole is about 4"above that)but you can see the reddish tint on the upper leg,OUCH!!!

4 Flu-Flu nutters, muskrat fur silencers I cut from a skin I tanned, and a wood arrow straightening "hook" I made out of a deer antler, and carved "trad gang bunny hunt '05".

Work and family stuff is keeping me out of it.

Hope all have a great time...I'm soooo jealous!

Curt, nice stuff!! Are ya giving the pants away, if so I want them cause I will frame them. I think they are actually lucky pants, things coul;d of been  a lot worse. The arrow straightener is real cool. Things are shaping up nicely, the weather is gonna turn real cold as well, at least we won't be huntin' in the mud and there is still some snow in the patches I hunt. It is gonna be like 10 degrees Sat. morning but warm up to 23-24 so that will make good huntin' weather. I cannot wait. I am getting the tables together and working on some type of gazebo to get under in case it is snowin!(LOL!!) Brian, sorry to here ya cannot make it , we walked out of that first piece together and that one bunny took us by surprise and neither of us got a shot, thats what we get for BS'in'  !! OOOOOOHHHHHH YEAHHHHHHH!!!  Shawn

Does anyone who is coming to the hunt have a 58" recurve string.Dacron, cause i'm not sure if the bow is made for FF.It's 65#'s.

Maybe someone could make me string for it??I'll square up with ya when I see ya.

I just got a 58" 65# Grizzly in a trade and it came without a string.Looking forward to trying it out and letting anybody else try it if they want to.

Help me out boys  :help:

Curt I have one on the bow I am givig away at the hunt. You can use it. I also have a couple other 58"ers but they may be FF. I can tell if I look close at them. We are on the final turn!! Shawn

Unfortunately I don't have much to put on the table. I do have a good number of feed bags if anyone wants me to bring some for making "stuff" targets.

Curt if no one comes up with a string I have some Dacron in my kit and will make one up for you when we get there.  I am not the best string maker but I do make my own.

Like I said in an earlier post, the table is not that important. Mark the knife, Joes arrows, a bow that I am gonna have everyone sign, and some of the other nice stuff, broadheads and what not I am gonna sell raffle tickets and we will donate the money to St. Judes. The prize table will have , some gloves, points, mini knives, and a bunch of trinkets just to get something if ya braek a ballon, or hit an aeriel. We are not gonna have much snow, but it will be cold so it won't be muddy. The bunnies better look out either way!! OOOOHHHHHHH YEAHHHHHHHHHH!!!  Shawn

I need to win one of the gloves I lost my #1 glove in a cyprus swamp in florida a couple weeks ago and after trudging through the swamp (crotch deep at times) then having to tread water while taking care of some "personal business" I wasn't about to turn around and go look for it. I am just glad it wasn't summer and the snakes weren't out.
