Now mind you, not that i want this to happen - even a little bit - but if I don't even get another this season I have lived to the fullest on this little gal and all my tradgang friends fine blessings, wishes, and funny remarks. What a blessing this thread has been. My wife told me I was, "traveling on a high," today - LOL. Back at 'em tomorrow evening, Lord willing.

Thanks to all,. I have my "Chessnut" (you gave me last year) in my pocket, Woodduck, and the well wishes of all these great tradgang friends and headed out this evening to "play" with the critters again - LOL.

Congrats Bernie on a great hunt and deer!  I know how it feels to get such a great gift on your b-day like that.  I actually had a string of 5 years in a row of taking a deer on my b-day.  But that was when I was over on the dark side and shooting a comp..... com.... I can't even say it!!  Gotta go now, got a headache.

Way to go, Bernie!

I love to see folks celebrating success rather than moaning about lost opportunities.  We as a species are far too inclined to dwell on the negative.

And I am far too inclined to stand on a friggin soapbox!  Congratulations again man.

You guys are the best - what a great way to start a otherwise rainy/gloomy Saturday AM. Gotta get the story finished up soon on my web site (and perhaps part of it here). BTW I went out last night but my wife told me "they" thought I was being greedy - 'cause I didn't see a one! Only the second time that's happened this year and the other time was in a different place. I almost didn't know how to act - LOL. What a year I am having for seeing deer - I love it. Did see two Fox and a Skwerl, though. oh yeah, and a small (by the sound) deer "blew" at me from right beside the truck as I was loading up to leave - I almost jumped over the truck. Life is good!
