Hot dog, another excuse to show my canoe hunt!

I love taking the canoe, there is no easier way to get a deer out of the woods.  Didn't know they did it in New York tho.

Mark, nope, it was a recovery the morning after.

I did shoot a large doe tho from the canoe later in the season.  You have to lead like shooting a duck if the canoe is moving with the current or paddling, found that out.

I,m outta here at noon today.Gonna float the creek this afternoon and leave my canoe out there for the morning......got this doe back there thats picked me off twice by my entrance trail......next time I,m gonna float quietly thru the back door   :)  

Hope the other guys are doing well today

We seen one nice buck in the flooded timber but no shot,got two shots at a yote its tough shooting out of a canoe.If you never did this before you have to give it a try,theres something special about floating down a stream very relaxing.We stopped to stretch a bit and found some rubs you would not believe no doubt theres a nice one in there...ED
