First Trad Buck
«

I finally shot my first traditional buck after 3 years last night. I headed for the woods right after school and got set up in my treestand. He came in with another little buck around 4:00 pm. at about 12 yards. Double lung shot and he went 60 yards.
.
.
I am shooting a ChekMate Hunter II 51# @ 28" with a 29" 2016 and a 140gr. Journeyman 2 blade head.

To me, the ultimate challenge in bowhunting is not how far away you can succesfully make a killing shot but rather how close you can get to the animal before shooting.
