This morning it's six degrees above zero, the river's steaming, half frozen and covered with flying poop machines (i.e. Canada geese)...and you're down there bowfishing and probably getting a tan?  :banghead:

Curtis, is there a day that goes by that you don't get a little huntin in?  Looks like a lot of fun.

Yes, Charlie said it best. I am fixated on shooting a gar big enough to stop a freight train. Looks like I'm going to have to wait till he and Wesbrock take to the bow-rail around June. Can't wait to see those pics!

Legolas, What's the Colonials recipe? LOL!

Dave, Dad says he looks real forward to meeting you also. I'll be ready for a break from this intense cold by then. I hate Winter!

Wesbrock, QUIT WORK!!!!!!! We got fish to shoot man!

Charlieonfire, I really enjoy the sport and try to entertain myself daily.

Gang, Thanks for the support. I appreciate the kind words. CK

Here's another picture taken during our trip. At first I thought it was just defective, but now I think it captured the "spirits of the hunt".

I had to go look 'em up, 'cause I hadn't seen them like that either. Ours seem to be a uniform dark green above, kinda the color of algae slime. Yup, they's bullfrogs, just stretched out like Kyle said.

Warm night, eh?  "[dead]"

Damn fine shootin'! I always head out with my recurve, plenty of fishin' arrows and...a couple of gigs!

Most of my frogs are caught by hand, all said.

Congrats!

.....Man, Littlefeather you loose more arrows at game on one or your off days, than I'd get a chance to all year long.

I'm envious or your hunting life.
