I would guess we got between 18 and 22 inches here...removal went well until the sheer pins broke.
I am hoping high winds clear the walking for us a bit...just a bit.
Couple more days either way...cant wait. Hope everyone gets dug out in time...

18 to 22? I think we're going to have to tie a ballon to Sonny and Elma.....and possibly Mike from what I hear.      :biglaugh:

Guys just got in after plowing for 20 hours stright. We have 20"s and it is bl;owing and drifting. The hunt is on, and I will do my best to have everything ready but we have so much snow and no place to put it and Dads has not been touched. I have been awake fro 24 straight hours. If anyone has a pick-up with a plow please bring it. If any of the guys comng in on Friday have one really bring it, as we can get the place ready Friday evening if need be. I borrowed tables and chairs from a local firehouse so, I will put a can out for a dollar or two donation from those who wish to contribute. I have Friday off, but my work could make it mandatory I work, but if I have to work at Dads thru the night, this will be the best Damn hunt yet. Oh and to answer the question how much snow could cancel this hunt, 20ft. could not do it. Where there is a will there is a way!!! If I do not get on here again until Friday for some reason Get a hold of David(huntrdfk)with any info ya have to get to me and he can call Cindy and let her know!! By the way Cindy will be there all day Friday with or without me getting things ready!! OOOOOOOOOOHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH YEAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!! Shawn

Thats all us Long Islanders wanted to hear..  :clapper:

Gonna finally test out the mew Commander in some "REAL" snow...

P.S.

MIKEY, I understand there is to be more snow on Fridays night's drive up, since you have the only high beam nose this side of the Alaskan Tundra, one that even Rudolph bows down too, can you be my hood orament to guide Harry and I thru storm?  Since one hands washes another, we can drop you off at the dumpster and since your on the hood, you wouldn't have to try and climb up and over into your lil area.
