David, you hit the nail on the head regarding the hunt! Shawn, thanks again for providing a place to spend quality time with my boys. Those of you raising a family know how difficult it is to find an activity that you can spend with your family and not have to worry about the many evil influences of the world. There just isn't much more out there more wholesome then spending time afield amongst good people. I am extremely blessed to have four wonderful children and I wish I could take credit for it, but I really have to place the credit with  my wife. There is one thing that I do, that I hope makes a difference and that is to spend as much time as I can doing things with the kids. I really believe spending time with them is the best way to keep them close. Thanks again!

Ok, it's too long to wait until next year for another get together!  I heard several folks talking about bowfishing! I also heard the Hudson River can be pretty good! So what do you all think? Joan Leonard Memorial Bowfishing Outing!

It looks like Shawn took the Joe Skipp, Pretty in Pink Team to heart.

Remember Shawn telling us about this new truck that none of us were going to able to ride in?  Remember how proud he is of his new truck?  Well I have it under good authority that Shawn went out and got himself a pink cap for the bed of his truck.  Sure, he'll tell you it's a shade of red, but I've seen it....... it's pink.  

Shawn and Joe have a "Team Skipper" chariot for next hunt.  Shawn I think marshalls got the color codes just right.

Yup, Keith is right. The dealer gave me the wrong color code and my cap is not close to my neew truck color. I saw Keith a local archery shop on Sat, the hunt turned out to be the talk of the shop. I do not think the guys believed we got 16 bunnies until Keith walked in and verified it!! Awesome! OOOOOOOOOOOHHHHHHHHHH YEAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!! Shawn

I would be into a bow fishing get together. I have never done it but i would learn just to get together with you guys again, or if there is a shoot that most of us could make that would be good also.

Ah, a carp hunt. Sounds like there really could be something to that. Lord knows I need something to hunt in spring besides turkey, the way they always bust my butt everytime I hunt 'em...

Shawn, before you wrap this up I just wanted to say thanks again. I really appriciate the way you welcomed all of us newbies into your home (ok your dad's home) and made us feel like we have been coming for years. Without a doubt I will be there again next year, assuming I'm invited of course. OHHHHHHH YEAHHHHH!!!!

If I might say it doesn't even have to be for a hunt..Though it would be funny to see everyone while walking raising their bow arms and drawing back with the other with two empty hands.. :D  

The Compound Guy and I again want to say thank you Shawn for allowing us to be apart of this special event and to all the new guys we met, and old guy "Mikey" it was our pleasure to hunt with you all.

I think some sort of get together is a great idea...as long as it before the first week of october...Im gonna be busy as a new dad then! Spring turkey....bowfishing....stripers in the Hudson....anyone interested, let me know. Thanks again Shawn for letting us all be a part of it...an honor.
