Shawn, We'll have to send you some of our white stuff... looks quite bare there; we have a good foot on the ground...but ya gotta take the -30c with the windchill too, (Long sleeve T-shirt and beer weather for a Canuck though LOL!), about -23F! :eek:

We are getting more over the next 2 weeks Too.
Wish we could send you a bunch for the hunt.

Arrows are gonne look sharp, even for a newbie like me...Gray shafts, chart dip, and chart dyed natural barred feathers...heck they are even sorta straight.Bet they would look good sticking outta a bunny....or a moose!!

Very cold and windy but I did manage to kick out a few bunnies this afternoon. They seem to know their safe with just one guy busting through the briars. They just scamper out about 15 yds and double back into the next thick patch of thorns.

Definately going to need some tough gloves for Shawns hunt, not only for warmth but to fend out these nasty thorns. My bow hand is still bleeding.

Love to Mikey....but this is my weekend to work, Fri/Sat/Sun....luckily I'm off NEXT weekend. I hate these rotating days off, pretty soon though I'll be back on 12hr night shifts and my days off will be the same every week.

A prehunt hunt sounds good to me. Im getting psyched. One thing, anyone that hunts around here...there is one grouse that is off limits. My buddy has it trained to come to him....follows him all over.Dont worry...easy to spot..he is the one running at ya.Strangest thing I have yet to see.
I did see that episode of Seinfeld....lol.
Joe, I know your pain. Busting brush for bunnies alone is pretty tough. I also have been bloodied by the thorns.

I'm gonna shoot with damon some tomorrow. See what type of flight he is getting. I am finishing up some arrows for Toll-Gate, gonna see how I do. I shoot Ok, most of the time!

I have been jumping em less than five minutes out the door...then we can practice on tree rats for a bit then hit the pond. Should be able to have a lot of sightings atleast.
