Nice trophy! We've just started getting coyotes in our area the last couple of years or so - at least that's when I started hearing reports of people seeing them -  but I haven't seen one alive yet....

Frank,
best of luck to ya brother, it ain't easy!!! i have been trying sence last year and its tuff to draw on ole wiley coyote. i definitly think a decoy helps for bow hunting yotes. a stuffed animal is fine, just enough to take their eyes off ya. i plan on trying alot more this year as mating season just kicked in and the big dogs will be moving and answering howls soon.

Very cool...I would love to shoot a yote.  I have tried calling them with a wooden mouse squeaker but can't get them in close enough. Dina

The Scream'n Demon call I picked up is the best I've heard imo. The guy who makes them tunes each and every one before it leaves his shop.

I'm not sure I'm allowed to put his website here on the board....am I ?

If anyones interested though I can email it to you ... I assume that'd be OK.

just got on here way to go calling coyotes is a blast, lots of good calls out there.  I always keep a turkey/elk  Diaphragm in my mouth works great for close range and not to much had movement and its always right there plus you can make about any sound with them things

about a month ago I saw what I am sure was a coyote on my place. I saw about a milion of them when I lived in the desert in Ca. but I did'nt think they were this far east.

Maybe that has a lot more to do with our lack of rabbits tha the hawks.
