Shawn, I'm definitely coming for both days with David. Also 2 friends from Stockbridge are probably going to follow us. I'll try and get some bear stew made up. Also see if I can fire up the forge to pound some hot steel into a knife for the table. It ain't Doug Campbell but he's the one who taught me! Jeff

This sounds awesome. I am gonna have to shovel a path for the bunny thrower. I cannot believe the response this year!! It5 is getting bigger and better every year and the Kids from St. Judes will benefit as well!! I just pray we have snow, as of right now only about 2"s and it is supposed to pour tonight!! It is a long ways off, so there should be snow!! I also should mention that ya'all should bring some flu-flus as we shoot aerials and I have something else up my sleeve this year, that should be a hoot and you will need flu-flus! The knife sounds nice, I will probably spend $100 on the freakin' raffle stuff

Way to go Mark!!! Saves us old guys from throwing out our shoulders trying to get those disks rolling smoothly across the yard.

Shawn...I'm gearing up for the hunt buddy...I went out yesterday afternoon, one of those spur of the moment deals. Someone had to be smiling at me cause after 5 misses on running bunnies, I managed to arrow 2 rabbits that made the mistake of stopping around 10 yds away. The icing on the cake....a huge Ringneck jumped out from his hiding spot, slowly walked away and as luck would have it, gave me a clear shot. Arrow flew perfect and that ended a great afternoon of hunting. Since my daughter borrowed my new Digital camera, I took a few pics with my 35mm. Photos to be posted at a later date!!! Oh Yeah Shawn!!! Getting Psyched!!!!

Joe, that is too cool!! I was gonna go this afternoon but I am working on all sorts of nutters, I am testing each shaft after it is fletched as I do not have a spine tester, but I am doing pretty good by just hand flexing them and taking a good guess as most fly great off my Savannah!! Curt what ya up too? I am gonna have the LDB by the first of Feb., if ya want to do a hunt with me, let me know!! Yeah, the thrower Mark made is gonna be real cool, maybe it will get us so we can hit the real thing!!(LOL!!) Everyone do there snow dances on Weds. the 15th. that way we will have snow and it won't be snowing for the weekend. PSYCHED is the word!! OOOOOOOOOOOOOOHHHHHHHHHHHHH YEAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!! Man, page 2 you guys are slipping!!(LOL!!!) We have lots of rain, lets hope it doesn't drown the bunnies, or worse yet get cold real fast. Ten years ago we had heavy rains and than it dropped down to 15 degrees overnight and we found about fifty dead bunnies, they could not hole up because their borrows were filled up and than they could not get dry and froze to death. It is only supposed to go to 30 so I hope they are OK!! I did a count and between the PMs and the guys posting it looks like we are up to 28 give or take a few guys and gal. I say gal as "Mo" is the only lady we have coming so far!! OOOOOOOOOOOOHHHHHHHHHHH YEAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!! Shawn

I think we will be fine!! It is pretty nice out right now and even if there is only one bunny left alive we will have a blast trying to find him. I did not mean to sound negative, they will be there for sure. I think that is what you were asking, by the way, Thanks for the Avatar. I have to get one with a dead bunny and the LDB!!! That would be cool!! Things are looking good and I have already started getting Dads place ready to go. Please let me know if you are spending saturday night as ya post, so I have an idea how many we need room for!!
