Leather gloves are kinda handy and even then ya still get pricked sometimes

Speaking of leather gloves...

I can get NEW smooth leather work gloves from work (duh!!!) if anyone is interested. They are made of med.wt. smooth leather and they make pretty good shooting gloves (with a little practice)I used them last year and my hands hardly got cut-up at all. They're also "ambedextrious" (I'm not sure I spelled that right but it's supposed to mean either right or left handed LOL) I'm going to try and get as many pair as I can and either bring or send them up for Sat. If anyone really wants a pair,I'll make sure and put your name on them for you.

Me not Skeerd either!! I busted bush this afternoon with my new bow, and saw 15 bunnies and got 6 shots, no bunnies but a lot of fun. I also got a shot a partridge sitting in a pine tree and missed him twice. I lost one flu-flu, but it was cool!! Guys also remember do not dress real heavy as far as too many layers, even if it is cold, like 15 degrees or so I wear thin long underwear and my heavy brush pants, a tee shirt and a sweatshirt, that is all. i do a lot of the pushes so I work up a sweat, just ask Swampbuck, as he is right there sweating with me!! We are do to get a big storm on tuesday and they are taliking 12-16"s, so we should have snow for the hunt, which will be awesome!! It is getting closer!! OOOOOOOOOOOOOOHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH YEAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!! Shawn

I am working on a list of what food and such is being brought and what we will need. I will post it early next week. Drinks are always a priority, so any canned drinks are great, soda, tea, canned juices. Yea,I think it was 7 degF that first hunt we were both sweatin on LOL so ya doesn,t need a whole bunch of warm cloths....

I did not leave yet, as I wanted to play with it bit. It shoots real sweet, I am surprised at the speed and it likes a bunch of different spines. OOOOOOOOOOHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH YEAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!! Shawn

I took my dog and bow for a walk this a.m. Wow it was bright out. No bunnies, but we did kick a few turkey's out of the roost and took down a stand I still had up. It was just to nice of a day to be inside.

Besides, I needed some practice for the big day coming up, so we did "kill" some stumps!

Jerry, I have hunted a lot of bummies and what ya need is overcast skies, the bright sun hurts those big eyes. The only sunny days ya find them out on, are days that it is real cold, less than 10 degrees, and even than they stick close to their ho;es then. It is gonna be good Monday afternoon with cloudy skies!! The LDB and I will be out there trying!! OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH YEAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!! Shawn

Went out yesterday afternoon for about an hour to a spot that I can see from my house and never really thought of hunting for some reason......saw six rabbits...got 4 shots....this is the result of one.....
