Uh, that's a typo... should read "boy".  I'm either preoccupied with something or I should stop drinking the beer and go shovel the dang snow.

Glad you got home Dave , I too had a chore to get home, San Antinio to El Paso then on to Albequerque on to Las Vegas then to Portland . Then the 1 hour drive to Hood River . I dragged my worn out beat up cactus spine filled body to bed. It was all worth it to hunt with such a great group of guys . It was good to meet some new people and spend time with old friends, even the new friends now feel like old friends.
Thanks for the traveling medicine kit Stinson, you made it easier.I will try to get some pictures up when I get a chance. It was great to meat up with Walt and Vance on the way out as well , thanks for the antelope horn Vance.
Thank you Curtis and Gary for a great time with a great group in a great place. Good luck group 2

Curtis has taken a ram with the LDB....and He and Mark Horne have taken a slough of carp with Hope.

I know Walt and Vance are there but who is filling out the rest of the second group?  Good luck to everyone and I'll be looking forward to the stories as they roll in.

I called the ranch last night to see how the first day went... forgot about the time difference though and missed everyone except Rick.    "[dntthnk]"
7 out of the 10 hunters arrived safely and they wasted no time at camp before getting out to hunt.

I just got off the phone with Curtis.  The guys are seeing lots of animals... and spending lots of time in camp shooting the breeze!  :)

Some shots have been fired with a few connecting with their intended targets.  Sounds like robtattoo has two porcupine and a carp in the bag.  Walt has been hunting hard and Curtis says the others should get up and run the ridges some more   ;)

They're all having a great time!!  Now Brent promised he'd put something on the ground for me, and he seems like the kind of guy who sticks to what he says, so I'm expecting there's gonna be a lot more action in the next few days!

I sent ROB some custom arrows down to the ranch so that he could shoot something with them.  I hope the rabbit met his maker at the end of a custom made cedar.  I hope you guys enjoyed yourselves while the rest of had to retrace our steps back to work while we were wishing we were there.  Congrats on another great year guys.
