Longbow Build-a-Long Bow... Makes Meat

For those who followed my Longbow Build-a-Long thread that I started October 29, here's a picture of some hunting success with that bow. I shot this doe tonight at 5:05 on local public ground. She took off like a rocket and piled quick up at 70 yards. Shaving sharp Ribtek on the business end of a 1916 left a nice exit hole just behind the shoulder.
Sorry for the poor picture but it was dark by the time I got it home. At least I could have smiled :D

Congratulations, Hatrick. That is a fine way to chrissen your homemade bow. I just got in from cutting up a buck and doe my kids shot last weekend in the youth hunt. I know the work you have facing you.

Outstanding! I loved the build along and now to see that it performed when called upon is the tops.
