Congrats Jim!! Awesome buck! I've been dealing with disappointment over not being able to make a trip back to my home state, Ohio of course, to hunt this season, but reading your story made me feel much better about it. Thanks for sharing, I needed that.  :clapper:

Great Buck Jim, congratulations....  The only problem is that   I will have to listen to Keck all through winter league talking about how this feat could have never been accomplished without his fine arrows.!!!!

Awsome!!!
Dave

I've come to believe that the keys to shooting well for me are good form, trusting the bow to do all the work, and having the confidence in the bow and myself to remain motionless and relaxed at release until the arrow hits the mark.

I must say it was a pleasure to have Jim and JD in camp with us last week. No, we are not guides nor do we claim to be. We are just hunters who feel blessed to have the property we have and just like to share it with others. Ben was unlucky enough to have cooking duties this year due to the little buck he already shot(see his avatar) so all I had to do is hunt! The weather was a little warm and the bigger ones just weren't moving that good. But I think all had a good time and ate well.

As far as paying us back Jim, the smile on your face when I saw you after you shot that buck is all the payment I need. Take care.

I haven't made one for Steve yet. He won't shoot anything but a straight limb bow and I haven't got a form built yet. I plan to remedy that situation soon. I don't know if he'll hunt with it or not, that will be up to him . C ya. Jim
