Fun post !

My first bow killed deer was with traditional gear.
1973, about a 10 yard shot.
Groves 42 lb. recurve with Micro Flight arrows and Hilbre heads.
The bow was totally restored to better that new condition by a good friend several years ago, complete with the same type arrows and heads.
For nostalgia, I took a turkey with it a couple years ago.

1973.................

2006......................

Mine was this early this season.

Took her from the ground (I was standing with my back to a tree) with my DH Hunter 55#, Easton XX78s and a Magnus two blade broadhead.

I've taken rabbits and squirrels with that bow in the past, but this is my first whitetail.

I'd post mine, but you've probably seen enough of that in my other thread  :bigsmyl:    ;)

Dirty Bill, ..not a digital one to be able to post it on here.

My first was a spine shot at a young boar with a 60# Martin Mounaineer.
