Michigan bunny stomp results ( pic pg 41+)

Whitebuffalo and myself are planning our annual bunny stomp...all are invited! This year we have chosen the Lake Ovid (sleepy hollow state park area) ...We hunted late season last year and saw bunnies and there seemed to be plenty of bunny cover.... Our date will be the first saturday after valentines in february.... saturday february 16th....SLEEPY HOLLOW ST PARK IS LOCATED 20 MINUTES NORTHEAST OF LANSING... If you have beagles bring them! I will give more details, times, meeting locations, what to bring for lunch...etc...at a later time.

MICHIGAN ANNUAL BUNNY STOMP 2008

DATE: SATURDAY, FEBRUARY 16TH
TIME: 8 AM
MEETING POINT: US127, PRICE ROAD, EXIT 91 (ST JOHNS, MI) AT THE PARK N RIDE LOT JUST OFF EXIT.

8:30 AM HEAD TO SLEEPY HOLLOW ST PARK (10 MIN. DRIVE)
9AM MORNING BUNNY STOMP
12PM LUNCH (BRING A DISH TO PASS) DRINKS, PLASTIC WARE WILL BE PROVIDED. WE WILL HAVE A GRILL AND A COUPLE FRYERS.
1PM ST JUDE RAFFLE AND FUN SHOOTS (DONATIONS WELCOME!)
3PM AFTERNOON BUNNY STOMP

POINTS TO PONDER

WE MUST FOLLOW DNR SMALL GAME LAWS, HUNTER ORANGE AND SMALL GAME LICENSE
LONGBOW, RECURVE, AND SELFBOW ONLY
BLUNTS & JUDOS ONLY (NO BROADHEADS OR FIELD POINTS)
BRING YOUR BEAGLE

I will pass the word to the Michigan Longbow Association membership...I love to shoot at bunnies and carp and just as sucessful at either one. JohnV>

monty.... thats the beauty of rabbit hunting with tradgear..... theres always a clump of snow or an old stump to kill if the bunnies arent cooperating.... plus a deer shed could be just around the next brush pile..... hope you can join us!

The snow's deep right now, broke out the snowshoes to check my traps.

I can have a friend bring his beagles if we need more.

Can't wait!!  

I hope Leroy brings a few of his "extra" bows!
