I didn't know they made any other bows then the Shrews   :D .

I will be using my 54" Shrew Classic Hunter 55lbs @ 29". I will have a combination of arrows, using Ace Hex, Judo points and custom made rabbit heads by Robslifts!

I will bring the RER Little River 53#@28" and the Dwyer proto type, both bows will shoot all ceadar arrows tipped with blunts and judos. I will have back stops and targets setup at the lunchin place.
If anyone needs hex heads but can't afford them this works great if you have access to a small welder,,J

I am sure I will bring some of my other Shrews and my Morrison as well.  Its to hard to decide when you have multiple bows.  Wish I could bring myself to cut down to just one!!

Tim -
Now you don't want to get those purty bows full of wet snow do you?  :D
Steve -
Any problem with the magnus type small game head.  I have a few I made up - blunts with small magnus bleeder blades inserted through a slit in the blunt.  No problem with the other variety of blunts of which I have plenty - just wondering. I wouldn't shoot them at stumps anyway - 'course I probably wouldn't hit the stump!!

Tim - That that is one fine collection of bows! Don't worry when you get to be as old as I am you will find that one bow that you just can't put down and that will be the one.  However until then it sure is an expensive but very fun road to travel  ;)

Any updates on the weather situation?  I live between Cadillac and Manistee and we sure have had our share of snow.  I know the midstate area has been pummeled lately and I think yesterday was a real kicker.  What's the situation in the Lansing area?  Apparently, Pentwater had 15" yesterday.  With the  "arctic blast" of air expected for the weekend and early next week, I doubt there will be much of a thaw!  Everyone better bring their tall walkin' boots, and hope the "stumps" are even visible.

Not sure about Lansing area but I live just north of G.R and all the back roads still haven't been plowed.  I am guessing we go 8 to 10 inches of snow.  I am going to see if my grandson's snow shoes will fit me  ;)

lansing area got blasted hard yesterday.... very wet snow and my power was out this morning... im guessing we got 8" yesterday....

Dick...those blunts should be fine as long as the tip is flat....

Hopefully, well get some bunnies running so you can try them out!!!

We got some snow here but not as much as you guys got to the north and east of us.  Looks like we might get a little bit of snow melt before next weekend but not to much.  Hopefully we get some good weather and not to much more snow!!

We got alittle over 12", and I'm just a few miles from Sleepy Hollow. Hopefully, we'll get some melt down next week...so we end up with just a few inches.  The cover is thick at Sleepy so wind won't blow it out.

Dick, I would check with the guys with the dogs when you get to the hunt about those Magnus heads..just to make sure everything is fine.

We got some string wax, donated to the hunt from Ron Bushong he makes his own with is top secret recipe.  It's for sale at Jays and a few of the trad gear internet companies.

Not sure on which bow I'll be bringing, either the Northern Mist, or the Horne.

Rob you should take a picture of your bunny busters and post them to see if they will be ok to use?
