michael...the date is saturday feb 16th...i posted it on the initial post on page 1....man, i love that yellow lab.... i lost old jesse last year..and i have a new 6 month old black lab....awesome companions!!!!

To those attending the hunt....We will be having a raffle at the hunt to benefit the kids at st judes ... anyone interested in donating an item... please give me a pm... Steve, must be a lot of bunnys down in Dansville, My son and I went coyote hunting down there last weekend and everywhere we looked their were guy's rabbit hunting.

Dave.... i jumped a bunch new years eve day in dansville..but havent been out since...we are actually having the bunny hunt up in st johns this year at sleepy hollow state park.....Were the guys hunting the state land?  You hunting coyotes with the bow, or hunting with allen bakers group...i know those guys take a lot of yotes every year... and im glad...those yotes are tough on the small game population...

Some pics from my trapline over at Sleepy this week.

hmm any bunnies out there..
 

I've jumped a few out here, and this is my dog's favorite Pheasant run..
 

Still one guy with his horns..this was done over night, I had "marked" spot the day before..too much coffee   :D  
 

Cover varies it can be thick, but this is average.
 

Some sheds i've found this week..
 

Plenty of tree rats, although they are jumpy you'd have to put a good stalk on them.

Steve, No my son and I where out with the guns by ourselfs, we like to sit and call. Havn"t had much luck though.

DATE: SATURDAY, FEBRUARY 16TH
TIME: 8 AM
MEETING POINT: US127, PRICE ROAD, EXIT 91 (ST JOHNS, MI) AT THE PARK N RIDE LOT JUST OFF EXIT.

8:30 AM HEAD TO SLEEPY HOLLOW ST PARK (10 MIN. DRIVE)
9AM MORNING BUNNY STOMP
12PM LUNCH (BRING A DISH TO PASS) DRINKS, PLASTIC WARE WILL BE PROVIDED. WE WILL HAVE A GRILL AND A COUPLE FRYERS.

thanks shawn! I know how you must feel organizing yours every year... theres a bit of time involved for something that seems so simple.. im hoping to get some new kids introduced to stickbows on this hunt this year...
