Sincere congratulations to Fred and Rick. What they have done, has taken years of hard work and serious funds to accomplish.

That said, I have never been comfortable with record books, trophy contests and slams. It often becomes too much about the hunter and too little about the magnificent animals we are blessed with to observe, photograph and hunt.

Congratulations Fred. We don't seem to get your show here anymore, which really sucks. It was one of the few hunting shows I really enjoyed. You and Tred Barta are about the only ones who use traditional equipment. I want your show back!

Congrats to Fred!!! What a cool thing to be able to get to bowhunt all those different critters!    :clapper:    :clapper:    :clapper:  Fred and Michele are coming to our annual bowhunters convention in SD this year and I am looking forward to getting to spend some time with them.
To me, the ultimate challenge in bowhunting is not how far away you can succesfully make a killing shot but rather how close you can get to the animal before shooting.

Congrats Fred!!!

Saw your segment on MTBB2, You really should show a little more enthusiasm for your love of hunting/shooting.   :biglaugh:    :biglaugh:

Good job and thanks for showing what can be accomplished with a traditional gear.

Great job Fred!!    Congratulations on completing the super slam of North American big game.  That really is quite an accomplishment!   Cheers, Matt

Bagging all the animals needed for the super slam is indeed very cool! However; when he "bagged" Michelle, that was the super slam in my book! Wait a minute, maybe she bagged him!(probably baiting),Danged if I know, but they both seem like super nice people and I enjoy watching, or reading about either of them. I bet he gets free broadheads too. Lucky sucker! :)
