That`s one of those bucks that you go out to where its hanging just one more time before you go to bed, just to make sure it really happened.

You just gotta love the photo,...world class buck, with a vintage "A" handle, and a smile that says it all.

Many happy returns Bryan Burkhardt!

Jim Reynolds: Maybe we should show them the buck from the awesome "arrow" bow you made...

Greg, keep the old Bear bows strung!  There are still a lot of dreams and adventures in those old bows.  Looking forward seeing you again at PBS in Pittsburgh.

Bonebuster hit the nail on the head!  I'm an average guy that loves to hunt whitetails.  When you get a good one on the ground, you have to take one last look before you go to bed...pinching yourself and hoping it's not just another whitetail dream  :)

Let me tell you about Mike Yancey.  This guy from Arkansas somehow finds his way to the Northwest Territories.  He pulls out this selfbow...first morning he is comes back to camp with this magnificent caribou!!  Mike is my hero!  Look at the Mike's antelope...I've come home from three antelope hunts empty handed and I'm going again next year...did I tell you that Mike is my hero?!

Okay, here is a little teaser...can't remember the full story but it was another first time in the stand...

Dang! Either you are about 4'6" tall or that is a monster deer! Nice shooting and way to go keeping those old Bears in the field though I see you broke out the fancy stick for this giant one.

Sometimes it`s all I can do to keep from falling apart when I`m about to shoot a doe, a buck like either one of these would just pop my pump.

Shaun - Fortunately, I'm 5'11" not 4'6".  You did give me an idea though...maybe I should have Too Short pose with my next deer   :)

Steve - The bow is limited edition (#5 of 5) Prarie Falcon takedown from Dick Robertson

Kenny - Not sure what it weighed but I can tell you that it collasped the spoked wheels on our deer cart.  We know have the dually version.

Bryan, I hope some of your good fortune rubs off on Big Jim Reynolds. I hear that he is taking pointers from you on stuff like scent control so maybe it will pay off for him!   ;)
