I got up early on Saturday and headed out behind the house to sit a stand I haven't spent much time in . The first while was quiet , tried the can a few times on and off but nothing . Alittle after eight I tipped the can again and about five minutes later this fork horn comes trotting down off the hill . Now being as I haven't gotten a buck with trad bow yet he met my specs. He comes around some trees and is inside ten yard and I bleat to stop him . He stops but starts again before I can get settled , so I bleat again and get him stopped long enough to get the shot off. After the doe earlier in the season I was aiming plenty close to the front shoulder . I hit right in the shoulder and he went down and ended up behind a small tree . I still wanted to make a quick job of it so I added a couple more arrows in the boiler room to end it . There is a steep gully within yards of him and did not want him down there either . I was very pleased for the fine table fair and gift from the great spirit . Now if I could get some pics up with some help again ( Ken, Aram) ? Thanks for listening and the best of luck to all :0) Drew
