Thanks guys...
I see alot of names on here that I have read posts from before and learned tons. This site has a wealth of knowledge on it and I have benefitted from all you guys -Thanks.
For anyone intersted in the bow, it is a Big River Longbow made by John McDonald in Wisconsin. It is 64" and #@28, I draw about 31.5-32. It really flings an arrow! I bought it second (or third) hand off of this site and had a great experience dealing with another member. I actually broke the tip overlays off a few weeks ago and my hear sank, but I got ahold of John and he fixed it for next to nothing, and fast - another really good experience.
As for the empty quiver... I took 4 arrows, 2 flu flus and 2 normal fletch, intending to only shoot the flu flus. Things turned more exciting than I expected and I ended up shooting every arrow in my quiver. I hit one bird with a flu flu and one with the arrow in the picture. I lost one flu flu and one normal.
We were in the middle of nowhere, so it was safe, but it was a learning experience... only big colorful flu flus from now on!
