First Buck with a recurve
« on: October 17, 2007, 06:51:00 PM »
Some of you who hang out at Cloverdale each year have met my nephew, Mitch Otto.  A couple of years ago me and my brother Ron, (Mitch's dad) got him turned on to shooting a recurve.  He took to it and has turned into a bonafide huntin fool.  A year or 2 ago he took his first with a recurve, a nice doe.  This year, on opening day of Ohio's bow season, He shot a nice buck with his Black Widder.  I've been on him like a hornet to send me a pic and he finally sent one tonight.  Thought I'd share it with ya'll.  Mitch is in his Senior year at Miami University in Oxford Ohio.  Not bad for a college boy!!

The smile says it all.  Congradulations!!!!
The broadhead used, regardless of how sharp, is nowhere as important as being able to place it in the correct spot.
