Pa. Does Have Deer
« on: October 08, 2007, 04:55:00 PM »

Got, this buck this morning, right after daylight, hot as as hell, temps in the 70s, T-shirt was to hot. I fill very fortunate that I tagged out in such weather, but I guess persistence pays off. I spent a lot of time in the woods, since the season started.
Also it a bitter sweet feeling, Im happy & proud I got him, but sad it's over.

48# Bear Take Down, P. O. C. arrow, and a Bear Razorhead green glue-on. Shot at 10 yards on the ground, he only went 20 yards.

Nice buck-guess those point restrictions are helping-wish our state did the same!
The essence of the hunt for me is to enter nature and observe+ return safely occasionally with the gift of a life taken.

great.
“instinctive archery” is more like playing the violin. Without practice you may remember the mechanics, but you will not be a virtuoso.
