Very nice deer!

Were you hunting from a ground blind? I would love to see pictures of the set up as well.

Congrats!

Hood,

No, I was just moving thru the big Locust trees in the shadows , seen him about 40 yards, did a little grunt, he came right over.

Geno, it was 70  degrees in the early am. 92 your a better man than me. Let it snow! let it snow! let it snow!

wow, nice buck. Things sure have changed in PA. Back when I hunted there it would take 3 deer to equal that one in body size, and probably 6 racks! LOL Now, what state are you going to buy a NR tag in for the rest of the season?

Great buck.  Were you hunting in a pop up blind or a ground bling you made.  Just curious.

Brent,

Now that you mention it, I'm leaving for Texas, this Sunday to work . If they have a night turn, I'll try to get on it, and see what hunting I can do. I always take my bow to the jobs.

Thanks and Good Hunting

Nice Deer.

I just wish all the arm chair wildlife biologists who complain about the deer herd in Pa could see your buck.

Great job!! The PA deer herd has definitely changed. The antler restrictions are definitly woriking and there are a lot less doe than there used to be. The buck are fighting a lot more than they used to.
I think a lot of the whiners are the guys who don't actually want to get out of the truck to do their hunting.  We don't have the huge herds any more but the quality, at least as far as what I'm seeing, is way up!
