LITTLEBIGMAN downs moose
« on: September 30, 2007, 10:06:00 AM »
Just got an e from Jim Gilmer - LITTLEBIGMAN - saying he heart shot a nice 3 year old bull at 6 paces! He's still in camp and promised pics and stories when he gets back. I have spent time afield and in camp with Jim and know him as a friend and as a trad hunter he is the real deal. Many kudos Jim!

That has to be exciting to be only 6 paces from a moose. Did you have a plan -b, if he decided to come to see you?

Congrats! You gotta be a glutton for punishment to shoot something the size of a moose. Lots of work! CK

Hi guys

I just got back last night and as soon as I get a little more caught up here at the office i'll post a story on the high lights section.

For now , here is a teaser picture. my shot was exactly six paces and i got him thru the heart. He was down in 60 seconds.
