Well, I would like to consider coming to this if I am not too late to the party.  There are multiple hotels and eaties within 10 minutes of Atterbury if anyone is interested.  It seems to me I see more rabbits in town than in the country now, maybe we should petition the DNR to open up "urban rabbit zones".

Would it be helpful to post a map of Indiana showing where Camp Atterbury is located? Maybe with some directions. Then get some others input on the location.

I tried to contact someone about the Farmland Conservation Club but have not recieved a reply yet.

FYI... I cant remember if it was mention(and I'm too lazy to look).. there's a good size campground right there in Atterbury, plenty of ponds to fish/ice fish, archery range, brand new (NICE) firearms range and plenty of military tanks, trucks etc on display, POW chapel- it was used as a pow camp in the 40's.

Also an outlet mall about 6 mile down the road, restaraunts etc.

I'm liking Atterbury more all the time. If NightHawk has an even moderately favorable report I saw we make it Atterbury.
I will check on a reply about Farmland though.

called the dnr at atterbury today. (1-812-526-2051)The guy on the phone told me that the season has been a little better than in the past. Atterbury does get alot of pressure early during the seasons, as long as it isn't to cold. I have bowhunted there for deer and haven't seen another person all day, some days seems like I can't get away from folks. Just depends

something else to think about. Morgantown CC isn't to far from atterbury less than 15 miles. Might be able to get the club house down there for the weekend. just a thought
