ONLY IN THE WOODS AND FIELDS DO I FEEL ALIVE, LIKE A HUNTER FROM TIMES PAST, ALTHOUGH THE HISS OF MY ARROW GOES FORTH, I AM TAKEN BACK, IT IS MY ESCAPE...

Nice shooting! Are you the same chew from TBH?

I am headed down there chasing hogs in April. Can't wait to get out of this -30* weather!

I will be close to Utopia. I am bringing my 10 year old daughter down for some rifle hunting and I will be bowhunting. I have killed a bunch of hogs with my compound but am still looking for the trad kill.

I think I hear Texas calling..
And thanks for turning me on to Elmer Kelton.
Now I am hungry again.   :banghead:

Glad you stumbled onto Kelton!  I need to check again and see if I missed any of his books. Great stuff.

Boy you put the hurt on him. Great shot. Took a bud to Chester couple of years ago. We also had success. Hunt N Shoot was fun. Nice folks to boot.
