Roger Norris, myself and one other stomper were standing on a little knoll ..when the first rabbit decided to head right for us... i thought maybe for a minute there this bunny didnt have a chance!  He come strolling up to us at about 7 yds..1 miss, 2 misses, 3 misses and in the hole!!  :biglaugh:  great times!

(Roblifts) thanks again for helping out , and Jeff (AnnointedArcher) for a beautiful prayer!

First off thanks to everyone that showed up and donating prizes, you guys make the event special!

Special thanks to Steve, for doing most of the work...next year I'll have more time.

Big special Thanks to Jim Jones for the FireFly bow, that gave us some extra money for the kids!

Another special Thanks to Anointed Archer for a great prayer before lunch.

The food was amazing, hunting fun but tough (the way is should be).

Another big thanks to Terry and Kyle for helping set up, Tim & Kevin for their help, and Pops Fishell for outbidding Kevin on the bow.

I'm off as I'm sicker than sick..

I had a lot of fun and met a few guys from here on the gang. Food was great, and I plan on being there next year.
My dad had fun too, and said he's glad he came.

Hi Guys, Thanks for all the kind words about the bow. Donating it was the least I could do help the KIDS. Kids, great memories and meeting new friends is what an event like this is all about.

I was planning on going...had my Ace Hex heads on my cedars and my new foam core bow ready to go. Also had some stuff to donate to the auction....Then Mother Nature changed my plans...I recently got a buffalo,... 600 lb's of meat on top of the four deer we already had in the freezer so I ran out of room. After I topped off my freezers at home, I had three big boxes of meat that had been riding around in the back of my truck...which was fine with the cold weather we've had lately. I was planning on taking it up to the farm to put in a freezer we have up there   AFTER the rabbit hunt..but it got so warm so quick on Saturday the I had to head straight for the freezer...   :(

On top of that it was my Daughters birthday and I wanted to spend some time with her.

Roger told me he would have gotten that rabbit but he forgot to turn the dial on his Shrew bow from "Scare" to "Kill"

Next year for sure...   :archer:
