The only hunting allowed is with a state permit that requires one full year of study and several thousand dollars.
Correct!
Then you must lease a hunting land that can cost any where from 25,000 - 100,000 dollars.
Not necessary but then you have to be NICE to the fellow who owns it. In any case your hunting depends on HIS will - and you'll mostly pay for it - at least the venison ...
I see now how great I have it here in the US. I'll never complain again about the price of a permit.
I feel like I am in a "golden cage" over here! Almost everthing what I am interested in is:
a) prohibited
b) restricted to such an extend thats close to a)
c) or will need an unreal amount of "paperwork"
d) any other reason
... a never ending story ...
You surely can feel blessed for having enough space/room/country to LIVE in - they way you like it - at least a bit.
In general: It can always be a BIG eye-opener if you take a look over the border. There can also be fields to learn from or just to think about - or other subjects - like the topic - to appreciate what one might has achived/preserved ...
But I will not start talking about politics/believes here. To difficult to discuss even in ones own language - just a hint ...
