So OLN is changing their name to Versus and plan on focusing on more competitive sports such as hockey, golf, bullriding and bicycle races.

Wonder what this means for the outdoor, fishing and hunting programs that are there now and if a certain hunting league may be a good fit for them with their new changes to come.

What ever happened to the good old American Sportsmen where kids and their dad's and uncles crowded around the set to watch fred bear.
It is ok to watch 20 people spill blood on a movie and have drive by shootings but it is not ok to shoot and eat an animal.
I think what we need is a documentary on the workings of a slaughter house. Let the public see the animal leave the farm and follow it through the whole process. Then maybe we will not seem to be the terrible hunters.

I remember going to the movies with my dad and seeing African safari and American safari. We would also go and see Wally Taber and others. There wasn't much as far as hunting on TV in those days.
