Cross Bow use proposed during Texas Archery only season
« on: April 17, 2007, 03:12:00 PM »
Alert to all. HB 1334 just passed through committee in Austin allowing the use of Cross Bows during the archery only season by anyone with a Texas archery permit and a valid hunting license. Lone Star Bowhunters Association and the Professional Bowhunters Society are actively fighting this issue. Texas Wildlife Department officials are once again turning their back on the bowhunting community, under the guise of increasing interest in hunting. What is really happening? Crossbow manufacturers are paying big bucks to get this bill passed by our elected officials. Contact your TX State Representatives and TX State Senators before this bill comes up for a vote. Say no to Cross Bow usage during the archery only season to anyone without a upper limb disability.  :help:
