Help Australia our hunting culture is under attack
« on: September 20, 2013, 06:06:00 AM »
As many of you know we are under attack and until further notice all our public hunting lands have been revoked.
please see this
  http://www.huntersunify.com/index.php
and any other petition on the matter that can help us out.
Lets face it Australia is a great destination and if there are petions out there like this one

 http://www.gopetition.com/petitions/barry-ofarrell-stop-your-attack-on-law-abiding-hunters.html

where you can give a statement. Let The Australia government Know that hunting is also good business and without it, it can effect thier bottom line.

if this has been covered before thats okay go find a petion on the subject to voice your concearns.

I suspect the only things that will perk the attention of the powers that be are Money and popularity. If they think they will loose favour from a large body of people or loose money they will take head.

Thank you

Get the LGBT community on your side. It seems that they can get anything and everything they want here.

Shame to hear about this.  The 'city' mentality think they have everything figured out.  I still scratch my head how you can gun hunt in England but not take an animal with a bow, totally idiotic.  I laughed at Izzy's comment but its a clever point he makes.  You'd think on such a large continent with a relatively low population that inhabits mostly the coast this wouldn't be an issue.  I mean don't hunters do the land a favor by going after invasive species like rabbits and keeping kangaroos and dingos under control?  Hope this issue comes to a good resolution.

Wait till they try to deal with feral pigs and water buff w/out hunters or weapons!

Can't wax political so I'll just shut up and wish you well.

The best way to keep it is to capitalize on it.  Make hunting Australia easy and fun and somewhat inexpensive so many more come there and spend their money.

I also am getting pretty tired of someone from somewhere else telling me I shouldn't be able to do something in my own back yard. Most times they don't have even a clue what actually goes on anywhere else, but that we shouldn't be allowed to do it.

Guess that's part of getting old.

I signed the petition.

Australian politicans need to realize that hunting and fishing create a value in wildlife and without value, those species would probably be extinct already.

Politicians, please wake up.

Signed,

"Gross overeach by elected officials should be curtailed. Hunters stand together to prevent politically motivated stripping of hunting rights by urbanites who never set foot upon the lands they wish to prevent others from enjoying."
