Just now seeing this thread...there are pluses and minuses to this.
Allowing trad only to hunt Sundays just means we're going to get individuals who are NOT proficient by any means with a trad bow picking one up and marching out into the woods with it just to be able to hunt on Sunday. That is the number one thing I think we want to try and avoid.
I love the idea of having a non-stop season for us, but in order to include Sunday's I think Sunday's need to be allowed for all other weapon types first. We can't just be rewarded with an extra day that no one else gets just because we choose to pursue game "the hard way". All that will do is bring unwanted negative attention in my opinion.
A lot of times, depending on the weather, the action is still great right when the season ends in November. I really don't think the low number of trad hunters would have a significant impact on the population either.
Interested to see if this ever gains any traction...
