How Bout These Malheuer Refuge Occupiers?
« on: January 19, 2016, 08:23:00 PM »
Ive been keeping quiet on these guys but Im starting to lose patience with these people. I think its about time that the Feds at least let them know that they will be held accountable just like any other group of burglars, thieves and vandal would be.

I totally understand that these folks make a living from the land but my land??????? Hell no!!! To me this is what they're preaching.... "Turn Over Federal Lands To Other Entities So That A few Select People Can Profit From It!" You've gotta be a fool to buy that line.

Do they plan to allow taxpayers to hunt, hike, camp, fish, trap or bird watch at will on this property that we've all paid taxes on to maintain and improve? I don't think so.

I have my beliefs on these dudes, I think that there crybaby thieves looking for a new form of government welfare, not some new age patriots who are standing up for whats rightfully theirs.

To me, what these occupiers are doing is not so very different from what happened in Ferguson or Baltimore over the summer. Its nothing but acting out and taking away from the quality of life of folks who work for what they have. Just because here wearing camo and cowboy hats doesn't make me tolerate their lawless antics one bit.

What your take on all this and how might this affect you're outdoor experience?

Sighhhhhhhh!!! Angry speech concluded.

Izzy I totally agree, I don,t underestimate the ignorance of our governing bodies but when people take unlawful advantage for there own ignorant selfish reasons then there's a problem that's been made bigger.Public land is just that, everyone's, not just a chosen few who may or may not have legal rights to use it without the legal consent of the people.I believe that land was made a refuge for a good reason and not to be used by a few who might have alternative reasons for its use. It's unfortunate a lot of people think of our governing bodies as separate from the citizens, for WE are the governing body,if we vote for the wrong people we have our own self to deal with, all things being equal, which they often are not. Therefore  we can be our own enemy, perhaps in this case.
