I was wondering if they were going to make a anniversary long bow. Does anyone know how much one is going to cost?

Ya know I just do not find BW and thier great big risers all that purty. The smaller riser models have a much prettier look.

somehow if it aint pretty I just dont want it. dont care how well they work, pretty is a must.

I guess each to his own. I think they're pretty. But then again, I think English Bulldogs are too.

Here's the Broadhead that is on the arrow. It is a cast head that weights in at 224gr.
We (the American Broadhead Collectors Club Members) that were at Compton's last year saw the prototype head. This is the production head

I got to handle two different examples the other day, and the pics do not do them justice. I was at the shop ordering mine, and my daughter Ashlen and I got to pick out my osage laminations for the limbs. Man is this going to be a beauty! Mine will be 55# at 29.5", and all the recurves are 60" bows.

This is a fitting commemorative to celebrate 50 years as a great archery business. I can't wait to draw mine on my first game animal! CKruse

The production bow has one fiberglass stripe about 1/8" wide through the middle of the riser for strength, and NO phenolic in it. Even the caps on the belly side at the top and bottom of the riser are rosewood. I don't have a problem with the use of phenolic, but it would seem they went the distance to make as much of this one as possible out of wood. I hope I don't miss my actionboo cores in this one, as my other two widows have them. The only option on these is Osage cores under clear glass. Wait till you see the beauties me and the little one picked out! I'm sure it will draw smooth as silk once the guys do their magic. I can't wait to get it out into the light and watch that yellow wood turn a beautiful golden-orange! CKruse
