Curious if anyone has used the Simmons bushmaster quiver. If so, can you give me your impressions, ease of use, noise factor, etc?
Thanks,
Joe

I haven't personally owned one but a buddy of mine had one for a very short time. The fabric covering the tube was very noisy. I wasn't very impressed with it but I have heard of others who were.

There is a discussion of this quiver, and others, here:

I was sufficiently impressed that I ordered one. I haven't hunted with it yet, but probably will next season. I like the way it holds the arrows, securely and quietly, with the fletches protected from rain, etc., and out of view. I don't know if the fabric covering the tube will be noisy, but I can see where it could be if the PVC tube (or whatever it's made out of) amplifies the sound of branches scraping on the fabric. However, there is nothing about the quiver itself that would be noisy, and in fact one of the reasons I got it was to eliminate whatever noises you might get from a bow quiver. I've used it in roving sessions to try it out, and it carries well. Not the kind of quiver you'd want to use very often for target practice, as it takes some time to load your arrows and it doesn't carry very many of them, but that's not a factor that would bother me for hunting.
