I've bought or ordered 6 recurves in the last 3 months.  Would have bought a 7th off the Classifieds if I had logged on a few minutes earlier on one particular day.

Does that qualify me?   :D

I feel your pain, i have been up since 4 am this morning waiting to go to a bow shoot that is 45 minutes from my house and its 20 degrees outside.
I cant wait to see all my trad friends and shoot some new bows in some cold weather.

The real difference among hunters is this..If you hunt with archery gear, not a DAY goes by without you having conscious thoughts about hunting, bows, arrows, etc. If you make you own equipment, every day finds you thinking of your next project and hunting with your STUFF! It totally addictive and I must admit, I'm An Addict!

I built a new medical office in October. I left a 20yd X 10yd "secret" room off my office for bow therapy. Everyone thinks it's for file storage on supplies but a few select bowhunting paients, office staff, and (unfortunately) wife know it is a group therapy/bowhunting room. I find that 10-20 arrows before work, at lunch, and after work will help with your addiction. Like most though, a little will leave you with wanting more! Come on in, the waters warm...

Yeah you guys get it.  It is all about falling to sleep visualizing shooting or waking restless at 3:00am with some crazy thought about how to change your string silencers or release style.  I also get the “buy the bow” obsession, but this is more disturbing than coveting another archery toy.  I even go from wanting to buy lots of bows to just wanting to dedicate myself to one bow and search for perfection in that relationship.  Then I change and see another beautiful bow I “have” to have.  But what I am mostly talking about is mentally whittling at oneself to become better and more knowledgeable about arching, waking up restless and desperate to be shooting.

Archeryaddict fits me.

Was the only one at work in Bldg today. You guess it! I set up a target in the hallway. Working on my short game (anchor and release). Just bought a stickbow last month and already looking for another one. I better learn fast how to make them or I will got broke.
