Most unusual trophy
« on: November 20, 2007, 09:44:00 PM »

This past summer we had a bat problem in our neighborhood. We had a few incidents in our house and the doctors suggested vaccination shots for the kids to be safe. After both of them had six sessions of getting stuck with needles, I vowed to eradicate these varmints should they get inside the house again.
This one buzzed my head when I went into our basement. My daughter grabbed a flashlight and I got my favorite low poundage bow for minimal damage to our Michigan basement in case I missed. She held the light on the bat and I put the arrow right where I was looking. Bear Panda 34#, cedar arrow, 125 grain steel blunt.
Just one more step please!

Some dude with a stick and string chasing things.

Now that is something you don't see everyday. Nice shot!

BTW, I think you need to change your handle to "Batman".   :)

Now you can have some bat stew.
Never drop your gun to hug a Grizzly.
